Rove Morocco Travels invites you to take a personalized tour of Morocco. The 5 day Morocco guided trip begins today as we journey across the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass, where we will experience stunning views of the High Atlas highlands. On our trip to Ait Benhaddou, we travel through a few Berber communities. Many great films have used this kasbah as a setting. Then we'll head to Ouarzazate to see movie studios before continuing on to the Valley of Roses and the Dades Gorges. We spend the night in a nearby motel.
DAY 1: MARRAKECH -
5 DAYS SOUTH MOROCCO DESERT TOUR FROM MARRAKECH TO MERZOUGA
After breakfast, we start our Morocco Tour with a visit to the Todra Gorge, which climbs to 300 meters in a tiny valley. After lunch in the gorge, we will go to Erfoud and maybe visit the fossil factory before continuing on to Rissani to explore the local souk. We then arrive in Merzouga, Sahara desert. We'll ride camels into the breathtaking Sahara desert dunes and sleep in desert tents.
DAY 2: DADES GORGES -
Our Morocco Tour continues today, and we will tour the desert. We ride camels to the highest dunes in Morocco, Erg Chebbi. We'll also stop by a Berber household and a Khamlia village to listen to Gnawa music. In the neighboring area, we will see Berber nomads and a palm tree oasis. We ride camels through the sand dunes to reach desert camp after lunch at Merzouga. We'll spend the night in a desert Sahara tent, listening to Berber drum music in the heart of the Sahara. You will also enjoy the desert sunset and dawn. We spend the night in desert tents after a typical Moroccan meal.
DAY 3: MERZOUGA DESERT
Today, we ride camels back to Merzouga from Marrakech, where our desert journey began. The Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate belonged to the Glaoui family, the Pashas of Marrakech, and we will be making the trip across the Draa valley to visit it. We then visit Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, the most well-
DAY 4: MERZOUGA -
The Tizi n'Tichka pass, at an elevation of 2,260 meters, is crossed on the final day of our Morocco tour. At the Atlas Mountains, we will be treated to breathtaking panoramas. We at Rove Morocco Travels appreciate you choosing us as your tour operator in Morocco.
